John Hare has a passion for breathing new life into old materials. The harvest tables, shelving, door panels, and bar wood in our tasting room? They’re all made from 150-year-old barn boards from Beamsville, crafted by a talented local artisan. The bricks adorning our building’s exterior, sourced from abandoned buildings in Detroit, add to our authentic European charm. These thoughtful details create a cozy and inviting space where you can sit back, relax, and savor your tasting experience.
Haretage is a softer, more mature red wine that offers incredible value. Inspired by the Bulgarian roots of John, Haretage incorporates Bulgarian grapes, which lend a unique authenticity to this special blend. Haretage shines not just for its flavor but for the rich story it tells. And here’s a fun tidbit: on the back of every bottle, you’ll find a heartwarming photo of John with his three, second cousins from Bulgaria, capturing the familial bonds that inspired this wine.
